Executive Producer for TEDxSouthCentral (formerly TEDxCrenshaw). Nelson is a leader, creative visionary, and community advocate with a passion for uniting people to collaborate, innovate, and grow. A classically trained pianist since the age of four and a former dancer, she brings both artistry and strategy to her work.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Northridge, and a California Real Estate License. With more than a decade of business administration experience, including distinguished service as Chief Financial Officer, Cameron is a proven leader in architecting and executing high-impact systems that streamline operations, optimize resources, and deliver sustained organizational growth.
She currently serves as Executive Producer for TEDxSouthCentral (formerly TEDxCrenshaw), where she advances its mission to connect residents of South Los Angeles, strengthen community ties, and spark meaningful conversations. Cameron has collaborated with organizations including Ronald McDonald House, Los Angeles Dream Center, and CLC Worship Center.
